“We do not recruit under-age children for war.”
Nadashen has spoken the truth. I am not trying to imply that he has lied recently. May be he was lying earlier but now he does not. He does not lie only because he cannot lie anymore. If we think he lies that it is our erred perception. Some one said that our reality is God’s dream. Nadashen’s reality is Son God’s dream. To be able to lie one needs to be able to recognize and feel the real world around. When one keeps lying then the falsehood usurp the person then only the falsehoods live through the person. For this living falsehood truth is the Son God. Son God may be dragging a ten Year old out of the lap of his or her mother to be sent to war front, but Nadashen is unable to see this. Son god says “Hey my prophet Nadashen “we do not recruit under-age children for war. We never use suicide bombers among civilians.” Then that is the truth nothing but the truth. Even if Nadashen is doing the dragging of children himself the truth is “we do not recruit under-age children for war. How dare UN or anybody question this God professed truth?
In the very early time when the prophet had to utter the truth given by Son God he might have felt a little awkward. Then he might have worked hard and promoted himself to the position that he could chuckle when the world organizations fell for Son God’s truth. At that time he knew he was lying. Son God might not have liked it. You cannot chuckle for people believing the Sun God’s truths. Then Nadashen should have taken the next leap to the status that he could not chuckle when the world fell for his God’s truths. Instead he would have been grateful for the God himself (Son God What I mean) for giving him the opportunity to enlighten ignorant world. That is not the end. Now he has elevated to the position that he is ready to do jihad if any one cares to deny Son God’s truth. He is so sad because he can not salvage the world’s nonbelievers from darkness of grave sin,
That is why I am telling you that Nadashen cannot lie any more. He and his organization have surpassed the stage that when they were lying they knew that they were lying. During that initial stage when they lied and world fell for the lies they would have congratulated each other for the effectiveness of their lying. That is, they have been truthful to the truth and themselves. Now they have crossed that threshold. When their gospel sayings are not believed by the people now they are really sad, upset and lament what the world is coming to. They are going through excruciating pain of carrying the cross to the Calvary Mountain to salvage us from our sins of falsehood. So they cannot lie.
In fact, come to think about it LTTE does not recruit teenagers. It was created by teenagers in 1970s. Wasn’t it? LTTE does not need to drag young kids from the bosoms of their parents. Parents and children themselves willingly come to sacrifice themselves in the altar of Son God. Suicide killing is the ultimate ritual of sacrifice that brings heavenly Son Godly bliss to the lambs. The civilians are not kept in Wanni as bulletproof garments. It is just Son God is mercifully granting the ultimate privilege of being the lambs of sacrifice so that they can attain heaven of one and only Son God. Allowing Civilians to be in Wanni is the epitome of endless mercy and boundless compassion of Son God. Nothing else. Any thing else is a lie.
If the world does not believe this gospel it is blasphemy and treachery against Son God. That is what they believe that they believe and want world to believe. Who can question these? How ridiculous to doubt these? What is the world coming to?
Can we call the most deadly snake of the world vicious? No we cannot. We can say it to a person that he is vicious. That makes sense. But, how can we blame or accuse a snake for being vicious. It is the very nature of the animal. That is how it survives. I am sure these believers might not have born like that but they have been evolved into the stage that to call them vicious is no longer appropriate. If such a dangerous animal is in our backyard even though we do not call it names we know what the solution is. we refuse to share this planet with the animal and go to a different planet. Since this is not possible then there is only one alternative.
LTTE viciousness far exceeds the ultimate level that humans can be vicious for the reason that they do not feel their viciousness. In fact they feel that their horrible crimes, suicidal killings of innocents as acts of sacredness; sacrifices for their one and only God. Everything what they do can be justified by Son God’ dream.
At this time I would like to mention the main character, (Maybe my memory is faulty here.) Raskolnikov, in Dostoevsky’s “Crime and Punishment”. The student killed a unscrupulous pawnbroker with hate, yet he did not loose the ability to repent. When he suffers from pain of repentance we almost forgive him not because of the unscrupulousness of the lady he killed but because of the tenacity of his repentance. Even if we do not completely forgive him we feel like lending our shoulder to him for comfort and patting his back. We do so because he resembles our fallibility and then he reassures us goodness of our hearts.
Raskolnikov might have never crossed the threshold of embracing blindness to one’s own viciousness. So we pat him. LTTE has crossed that threshold decades ago and has crept light years into the realm of blindness. NO LONGER PATTING WORKS OR is APPROPRIATE.
Last but not least, let us take care of ourselves and avoid being evolved into such poor examples of humanity regardless what ever the ideals or dreams we cherish.

Nadesan: Tongue of the Mission -Mission of the Tongue

If there is single reason why crime prevails, what is it? It is the fact that we own one of most dangerous weapon. In appearance it is soft, delicate and pinky. The vicious aspect of this does not come from its appearance. It comes from its flexibility. This flexibility is needed for its original purpose. Being very clever we have used this most resourceful aspect as a tool of dehumanization. It can bend up and down and left and right. It can even be rolled.
The tongue.
It is one of the most vicious weapons of dehumanization. Do you need proof? Consider this.
"We are deeply sad and puzzled at the attitude of the apex institution of humanity, the United Nations, in not taking effective measures to protect the life, security and interests of innocent Tamil civilians," said LTTE's Political Head B. Nadesan on Tuesday. "
If it is not the fault of tongue what is it?
Nadasan complains that UN has not taken any effective measures to protect innocent Tamil civilian lives. How true is this? Is not this true if we assume that tongue has different meanings to the words according what slant it takes. Is it not true that UN has demanded LTTE release civilians. It surprises Nadasen that UN does not seem to stand for saving the life of LTTE. This particular Nadasen-tongue also says more than that.
It is god given right that they can maim and kill people at will. It is god given right that LTTE can do drug trafficking, prostituting, human smuggling, credit card frauds. It can wear so called its own people as defensive body armour. It can use the people that they are saying they are liberating as pawns who would face agonised death so that it can be used for propagandistic and/or military value. They can submerge “their own people” if they can just reverse their military debacles. The LTTE is asking who can interfere with these God given rights. Who will dare to question these rights given by Son God? That is what he is claiming.
Is this not the fault of tongue? To complete this note it is necessary that I mention another tongue-crime. That happened in Parliament in mid sixties. One Member of Parliament said in the parliament that he could not sleep until each Tamil is killed and he wears slippers made out of the skin of the last Tamil killed.
How can we tame the tongue? To tame the tongue we need to tame our thoughts. How do we tame the thoughts? Thoughts have materialistic base most of the time. As we believe we are evolved from apes. Apes are territorial. This had to be other wise they could not have been able to survive. We inherited this tribalistic and territorial nature form our forefathers. This is also not bad in itself if we understand that was necessary for our survival. Maybe still this behaviour has some positive role to play in our lives. The problem arises when we raise these natural instincts to level of super ideals that have no material basis and have their own existence.
The ideal become even bigger than the Universe itself. Then we develop xenophobia. If we understand that all these natural instincts are common for all of us and if we also know that we all share the same tears and laughs, dreams and hopes, life and death perhaps may be we will be able to tame our thoughts and develop a form of patriotism based on universality of justice and equality. This may help us to tame our tongues.
